The Microsoft Surface Pro (11th Edition) boasts excellent performance, long-lasting battery life, and a gorgeous display, but its high cost once adding the keyboard is hard to justify.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 11 has made me a believer in Windows-on-Arm, thanks to its snappy performance, excellent battery life, improved compatibility, and new AI-powered apps that will only get better with time. While some of the Surface Pro 11's quirks from previous generations remain (and new ones get introduced), from its display to its attractive design and upgraded keyboard, this detachable 2-in-1 is the first real competition the iPad Pro has ever really had, and Apple should absolutely be worried.

The Surface Pro is the fastest and most efficient Microsoft tablet we’ve seen yet, especially when paired together with its Flex keyboard. The new OLED screen is wonderful to behold and its NPU allows for powerful AI features.

An early Copilot+ PC, Microsoft's 2024 Surface Pro delivers a few cutting-edge AI features using Qualcomm's new Arm silicon. It's pricey, though, once kitted out with its accessories. Given the early uncertainty around Windows on Arm, we suggest waiting-and-seeing unless you're an early adopter.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 11 isn’t revolutionary but additions like a 13.3-inch OLED display and the powerful Snapdragon X chip make it the best model yet. Though its AI features aren’t fully formed and its peripherals are expensive, the Surface Pro 11 is a marked improvement over previous models.

Microsoft’s latest 2-in-1 Surface delivers good performance (if you don’t play any games) and excellent battery life, but it’s way too expensive.
