Simply put, I enjoy using it more than phones that cost $200 to $300 more. Motorola found a unique approach to the Razr Plus last year, and this year's model builds on its strengths and addresses many of its shortcomings. I genuinely can't remember the last time I used a phone this fun. Motorola prioritized the experience of using a Razr Plus over pretty much anything else. And that will definitely appeal to some people more than others.

The Motorola Razr and Razr+ are the best flip phones on the market, and I say that not knowing what Samsung will announce in *checks watch* about 24 hours. The difference between the two is, well, $300. If you want premium, go premium. If the entry-level Razr sounds like it's for you, it's pretty great too.

But overall, the Razr Plus 2024 is a great phone that you should consider as your next.

That said, my pro tip is to never buy a Motorola phone at its launch MSRP. The company notoriously slashes prices on its devices months—sometimes weeks—after it releases a phone.

However, if you are looking for the best camera on a flip phone, this might not quite be the very best one and the lack of an ultra-wide camera might be important to some people too. The other big "if" is software updates. While other companies have pledged an incredible seven years, Motorola still guarantees only three years of OS updates. Again, not an issue for everyone, but some might not like this.
