The Super Pocket is a phenomenally cheap portable arcade machine that's an absolute joy to play on. While enthusiasts and those well versed in emulation will likely be drawn to other gaming handhelds, this dinky device is for both casual players and people who want quick, easy access to the classics.
Our editors hand-pick related products using a variety of criteria: direct competitors targeting the same market segment, or devices that are similar in size, performance, or feature sets.
As ever, the proviso with these things is that there are emulators available for your smartphone and PC that will give you access to thousands of games like this for free – if you know where and how to find and download them. What Blaze says is that it’s providing a curated experience with each cart using specific, tested emulations to ensure a smooth, agreeable experience.
At just £50 for heaps of arcade classics, the Super Pocket is a terrific gift or payday treat. With support for the wonderfully cheap Evercade cartridge library, it’s a great classic handheld that is set to give and give, too.

The low price tag and full compatibility with Evercade cartridges are the icing on the cake and comfortably elevate this handheld to must-buy territory for retro gamers.
As far as retro gaming devices go, we’ve not had our hands on anything that offers quite as good value as the Super Pocket. You’re getting a seriously great little retro powerhouse for just £49.99/$59.99. The built-in games are great, no matter which collection you go for, but it’s the Evercade support that really sets this apart from anything else in its price range.
